LOCAL EDITION #2 - Audio Newscast Series Launched By OMB and WMBR

Cambridge, Mass. - This is #2 of WMBR Radio and Open Media Boston’s collaborative local newscast for the Boston/Cambridge MA area. This week’s “Local Edition” includes stories on Boston protests against Republican Party attempts to hold the federal government and its workers hostage; a recap of the Boston school bus driver’s wildcat strike and the response from Boston mayoral election candidates; a feature on 2013 MacArthur genius grant recipient MIT Professor Sara Seager; and a look (listen) at this year’s HONK festival of activist marching bands.
