Communist historian Doug Enaa Greene lectures on the activist, historian and novelist Victor Serge (1890-1947) at the Center for Marxist Education. Serge was originally an anarchist in his youth, who became a communist after 1917, an ally of Leon Trotsky and a heterodox Marxist. Victor Serge's many works chronicle, in eloquent and brutal honesty, the revolutionary experience of his generation.
