Pro-Choice Massachusetts – State House
In a statement released last week, NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts thanked Gov. Patrick, Attorney General Martha Coakley, Senate President Therese Murray, State Senator Harriette Chandler, and House Speaker Robert DeLeo for their efforts in filing the bill entitled, An Act to Promote Public Safety and Protect Access to Reproductive Health Care Facilities, which aims to address safety concerns that have arisen since the US Supreme Court struck down the Massachusetts buffer zone law.

Robin Thicke’s Misogynist Lyrics Blasted at BU Protest

BOSTON/Allston - As people lined up to receive their tickets ahead of a concert at Boston University’s (BU) Agganis Arena, a small group of protestors targeted the performer’s misogynist lyrics. 

Robin Thicke, now infamous for his song Blurred Lines, was playing at the venue on Tuesday night when demonstrators targeted the event to highlight rape culture in media.

BOSTON/Back Bay - Five women active in local, state and national election campaigns appeared for a political roundtable on Saturday, where they urged their audience to run for office and take back the “F-word” in 2010. That’s F for Feminist, and there were dozens of them seated in Boston’s Park Plaza Hotel during a conference hosted by the National Organization for Women.
